Our PPWR Statement
One of the latest documents available on the page is our statement on the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, commonly known as PPWR.
PPWR introduces requirements for packaging placed on the EU market, including provisions relating to recyclability, recycled content, packaging minimisation, labelling, restricted substances and supporting documentation.
As a supplier of labels, hazard communication products, label printing systems, software, training and consultancy services, it is important that we clearly explain our role within the packaging supply chain. Our PPWR statement outlines the responsibilities of Hibiscus Plc in placing finished packaging onto the EU market. It also explains the product and supply-chain information that may be available to support customers with their own regulatory reviews.
Rather than making broad or unsupported claims, the statement provides a transparent overview of our position and identifies where product-specific information may be issued for relevant Hibiscus label materials and product ranges.

EcoVadis assesses organisations across four key sustainability themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Hibiscus Holdings Plc achieved an overall score of 59 out of 100, placing the business in the 55th percentile, and received the EcoVadis Committed Badge.
The assessment gives us an independent view of our current sustainability management practices. It also helps us identify where progress has been made and where further improvement can be achieved.
