1. Groundbreaking Recycling Project

In collaboration with Avery Dennison, we’ve launched a free recycling service for our customers’ waste backing materials. This initiative diverts tons of waste from landfills, supporting the circular economy and reducing environmental pollution.

• 2023: Over 20 tons of waste recycled
• 2024 Goal: 51 tons (equivalent to saving 15 tonnes of carbon emissions)

2. Solar Power Integration

We’ve installed solar panels on our factory roof, harnessing renewable energy to power our operations. This significant step reduces our reliance on non-renewable energy sources and lowers our overall carbon footprint.

4. Factory Renovation for Sustainability

Our recent factory renovation not only enhances operational efficiency but also demonstrates our commitment to environmental stewardship. The revamped workspace fosters creativity, collaboration, and productivity while prioritising employee well-being.

Our Achievements

We’re proud to hold the ISO14001 Environmental Management accreditation, a rare achievement for a manufacturer in our industry. This certification underscores our commitment to identifying, managing, and controlling environmental processes throughout our operations.

Hibiscus also hosted the Chemical Business Association’s Responsible Care Day, welcoming over 40 professionals from across the chemical sector. The event featured presentations on workforce skills, labelling responsibility, regulatory updates, and sustainable print solutions, fostering practical discussions and collaboration on key industry challenges.

Following this, Hibiscus delivered a keynote at ChemUK 2025 on sustainable packaging in the chemical industry, sharing insights on environmentally conscious packaging practices and reinforcing our commitment to responsible care throughout the supply chain.

We are also proud to announce that Hibiscus Plc has recently received the EcoVadis Committed Badge.

This recognition reflects the work underway across the business to strengthen our approach to sustainability, ethics, and responsible practices. While there’s more to do, the assessment provides a useful benchmark as we continue to improve how we operate and work with our partners.
